Small-to-medium businesses (SMB)
Small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) are a category of company whose assets, revenue, or employee count fall below a predetermined threshold. To distinguish small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from large corporations, each country typically has its own set of standards.
For instance, an SMB in the US might employ up to 1,500 people. In contrast, an SMB in Canada is one that employs fewer than 500 people and qualifies for tax breaks, financing, and other benefits.
